“The Witch’s Dungeon”
“Silver Screen Movie Museum & Archive” Website Although never given screen credit
by Universal Studios, either on film or promotional material, Ben
was proud to be the last of the great movie monsters for the studio.
He made us believe this “Creature” was real,
and dangerous, solely with his pantomime,
and body movement. Due to the special eye
lenses he wore as “The Gill Man”, he had
limited vision. Ben’s 6’4” height also made
his “Creature” very imposing. Ben was a
strong supporter of “The Witch’s Dungeon
Classic Movie Museum” and was on our
Honorary Board Of Directors. He will be
greatly missed by us all. A gentle “Creature”
who loved his fans.
Our thanks to all those that have shown
support for the museum, by purchasing
our original DVD, “THE WITCH’S DUNGEON
40 YEARS OF CHILLS”. We appreciate
your e-mails, on our documentary. It
makes those three years we worked on the
film, worthwhile, as we did it for the fans
of classic horror. Go to “ABOUT THE DVD”
page, for more information. To order via
credit card, go to www.amazon.com - and please tell your friends about it - it’s the perfect gift for any movie buff.

Our continued thanks also to those who always volunteer their
talents for the museum : Dante Renta, Janet Mellon, Jim Wieloch, Bill Diamond, John Bartucca, “The Main Street Foundation”, Ron
Adams, Kelly Mann, “Sideshow Collectibles”, Bob Burns,, Ron Borst, John Floyd, Joe Shea, & June Foray.

We are very excited about working on
“Part Two” - “THE WITCH’S DUNGEON
LEGENDS OF FILM & FANTASY” with a
                                projected release of fall 2009.

Last summer, we were in Los Angeles
for three weeks, filming new interviews
                                with MARK HAMILL, BILL MUMY,
RICK BAKER, JULIE ADAMS, LEONARD MALTIN, LORI NELSON,
BUTCH PATRICK - and so many
others, plus exclusive tours of effects
& prop studios, and a sculpting
  demonstration by MAT FALLS of
  “Sideshow Collectibles”. All this,
  and many more surprises ahead,
  for our new 2-disc documentary.
  Everyone has been extremely
supportive - a special thanks to
CHRIS GILMAN and his “GLOBAL EFFECTS STUDIOS”, without his
help, much of this upcoming documentary would not have been
possible. Until our new release, we hope you enjoy our original
“WITCH’S DUNGEON 40 YEARS OF CHILLS”.
We are very pleased to say, our
                                       good friend, JOHN ZACHERLE

Dennis & I wish to thank everyone who voted
for “The Rondo Awards”, we have been inducted
to the “Monster Kid Hall Of Fame”. We greatly
appreciate this honor, with over 40 years of
“The Witch’s Dungeon”, Dennis & I compiling the
documentaries, and traveling with our life size
classic ghouls, to as many conventions as we
can, this is very rewarding, it means a lot! Even more, receiving the Rondo Award at “Wonderfest” this July, in Louisville, KY. the birth- place of my great uncle, actor HENRY HULL. Henry, in his later years, was forgotten by the media, Dennis & I dedicate this award in his honor, and to our dear friend, JUNE FORAY (the voice of our “Zenobia”), who has been so supportive. www.rondoaward.comhttp://www.rondoaward.comshapeimage_17_link_0
